Excellent product, it retained its moistness after being pan fried. Clean flavor, all around a wonderful product.

Positive from negative

Prior to the Covid 19 lockdown we purchased our chicken at the super market. More recently we have favored organic chicken as we felt it was more flavorful if not at hearty looking in the package. Then came Covid and the risk of shopping became too great especially when there were internet options available. After reading a NYT article about how New York restaurant food purveyors had excess supply due to restaurant closures we thought we would order our chicken and beef from one of the firms mentioned in the article. Our expectation was that we would simply trade the super market chicken for the Master Purveyor one. While this is what happened physically, the taste and texture of the Murray’s chicken is vastly superior. Indeed because we had a hard time believing our taste buds we gave a breast to a friend. Shortly thereafter he called and said that this was the best tasting chicken he had eaten since childhood! We concur. The bottom line is that the Murray chicken is superior and it is a rare bright spot within the Covid 19 gloom.
