Sam Solasz opened Master Purveyors Inc. in August of 1957 with a commitment to handling only the country’s finest meat. Sam’s customers be came his top priority, treating them as if they were family. With that commitment to selling the country’s finest meat products (Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry and Provisions): Sam began with only one truck delivering to a few of New York ’s exclusive restaurants. More than 40 years later, Sam and his two sons, Scott and Mark, without compromise to their commitment, service the finest Hotels, Restaurants and Institutions in the area, with more than 10 trucks on the road each day.

As a family owned business we personally guarantee you the best possible quality and service. Each and every employee at Master Purveyors takes: in satisfying you. Although computerized technology has become a necessity in our accounting department, the Master’s family has refused to allow technology to replace good old fashioned hard work that’s why you’ll see Sam, Scott and Mark up before midnight, each on the Plant floor, taking your calls and making sure that each order is prepared completely and accurately, checking weights and prices all the time. Our signature, brilliant yellow refrigerated delivery trucks begin to roll at 5:00am, one of the earliest in the market, keeping us ahead of the rest.
Good Old Times
Unlike most of our competition that have converted to pre-pack aged boxed beef exclusively, Master Purveyors continues to fabricate fresh hanging beef, thus giving us a quality and price advantage on both fresh and dry-aged middle meats. In fact, many of our competitors buy fresh and dry-aged cuts from us but you’ll never know unless you’re buying it direct, from us.
Our hand selection
means just that. Sam, Scott and Mark are responsible for checking marbling, weight specs, size confirmation and texture. Detail is key to your success. And for those of you who feel more comfort able in “stamping” you own meat right off the rail, you are invited to do just that.
